Some homes and businesses in Bomani have been without water for at least five days.
Councillor Donal Mandy Kelly told yesterday’s Donegal County Council special housing meeting that while he welcomed the news that a further 100 social homes would be delivered in Ballymacool by 2026, communal facilities there needed repair.
He said surrounding areas including Taligai and New Mills were plagued by water outages, with one outage in particular lasting since Friday.
Speaking after the meeting, Councillor Kelly said this issue must be addressed:
