Today (August 4), the people of Himaljot elected a new mayor, with Socialist candidate Vangjel Tavo and Democratic candidate Petro Gjikuria competing against each other.
Voting began at 07:00 and citizens went to 36 polling stations to vote.
The Central Election Commission announces preliminary results by 15:00.
Thirty-five polling stations out of a total of 36 reported data.
According to the CEC, out of the 22,704 voters on the list of polling centres that reported so far, 6,912 voters, or 30.44 per cent, have participated.
Meanwhile, in the case of the May 14, 2023 elections, an increase in the number of voters was reported before 14:00.
