USSR deputy Diana Stoica accuses Minister Rafila of “wanting to take control of the emergency system, which is one of the few that works for health and maintains relatively similar standards throughout the country”.
“Besides the injustice to some people’s work, doctors and patients will also suffer. Enough! Rafira must go home”, added Diana Stoica, a member of the House of Representatives’ Health Committee. PNRR funds According to the USR, Romania will lose 740 million euros from the PNRR for the health system during Rafira’s tenure. “And yet, Minister Rafira carefully modified the patient feedback mechanism implemented by Vlad Voiculescu in 2016 to cover up the garbage of the health system. In November 2023, the PSD and PNL voted en masse in Parliament against the USR project, which stipulates that hospital managers should be held accountable for irregularities reported by patients through the feedback mechanism. And, as a final proof of Minister Rafira’s complete dereliction of duty, even updating the list of drugs that can influence the results of drug tests took him more than two months.
