“Kamala Harris has the experience, vision, temperament and joy to lead America.” These are the words of former US President Bill Clinton during the third night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, Illinois.
Bill Clinton then stressed that in the November election “we have a clear choice: ‘We the People’ on one side, and ‘Me and Myself’ on the other.”
Clinton said Kamala Harris was the “clear choice” for president.
“When she was a student, she worked at McDonald’s. She greeted everyone with a thousand-watt smile and said, ‘How can I help you?’ Now, at the height of her power, she still asks, ‘How can I help you?’”
“I’m going to be very happy when she gets to the White House because she’s going to finally break my record as the president who’s spent the most time at McDonald’s.”
Bill Clinton said of Donald Trump that he was like a tenor singing “Me, me, me” to warm up.
“What does Donald Trump do with his voice? He talks mostly about himself… his revenges, his vendettas, his grievances, his conspiracies,” the former US president said.
