Kuwait City, June 15: Hawalli Governor Ali Al-Asfar stressed the zero-tolerance policy on construction violations, promising to enforce the law and impose the maximum penalty on anyone who takes advantage of illegal construction to ensure the safety of citizens and residents in the governorate. The announcement was made during a tour of several illegal buildings accompanied by security and municipal teams. Governor Al-Asfar stressed the importance of addressing complaints from citizens and permanent residents, ensuring that violators are monitored through intensive on-site inspections.

Al-Asfar thanked the Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Municipality employees for their effective role and stressed the need to provide all necessary support to stop violators and protect lives. Key officials who participated in the inspection included Brigadier General Hamad Al-Zuwair, Director of Operations and Patrols in Hawalli Governorate, Engineer Hamoud Al-Mutairi, Director of Municipalities Department in Hawalli Governorate, and Engineer Nasser Al-Dhafiri, Director of Engineering Control in Hawalli Governorate. During the inspection, a large number of violations were recorded and action was taken against several buildings that were found to be non-compliant.
