323 police officers killed in 9 years
According to a report by the National Network for the Protection of Human Rights (RNDDH), at least 323 police officers have been killed in the line of duty since 2015. The report also lists 68 attacks on police infrastructure between 2021 and 2024.

Canada congratulates Corneille and his government

UNESCO: Haiti wins unanimous approval
Haiti has been unanimously elected to serve on the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO for a four-year term. This is the first time the country has participated in this historic election, and it is a recognition by the international community of the efforts and capabilities of Haitian cultural protection experts. Dominique Dupuy, Haiti’s Permanent Representative to UNESCO and current Minister of Foreign Affairs, said he was proud of the election.
