Ignored by Farul, reach League 3

While this summer Farul tried to resurrect several tired players, even past their first “puberty”, no one at the Constantine Stadium paid attention to Razvan Matiš, the second player to be loaned to a league team in recent years. Although Matiš had one year left on his contract with Farul, he came to SCM Zalău in League 3 for free.

Mathish came here after his unfortunate experience in Chindia where he ended up filing a memorandum to get his salary rights and so he looked for a different environment.

“I even had discussions with teams in Ligue 1, but nothing came of it, so I decided to follow Zalău’s proposal. I’m interested in the project, not the financial aspect. I still have a few friends in the team. I received good performances against the club and I want to be promoted at the end of the season. I was loaned out year after year in different positions, so I needed to start over – where I felt most needed. “, Matiš told us.

In the 2018-2019 season, Matiš played for Vitorul in the Youth Champions League. Over time, he was loaned to several teams, but the lack of stability prevented him from making the progress he wanted.

He was loaned out to FC Arges, FC Petrul, Chindia (twice), Concordia Chiajna, Gloria Buzău and Unirea Dej.

He signed a contract with SCM Zalău for one season with the option to renew it in case of promotion. According to Razvan Matyš, the fact that he was in the third division did not demoralize him, on the contrary, it was quite the opposite.

“I can say that I am more motivated now to really prove myself. I am still a young footballer and I want to get to the First Division as soon as possible. I have had many coaches over the past few years, from whom I have learned something. I want to get another chance in the future and prove that I can play at the First Division level.

Currently, I have the moral support from my family and relatives which motivates me more towards success,” Mathish also declared.
