The group was founded in 2019. The young people met during a music therapy course. “Children grow, their needs and treatments are different; (the parents) are gaining time, treatment and space as our children grow, and it’s been a pretty satisfying path because during that time we’ve been helping other children,” said Fernando Navia, Juan Diego’s father and head of the Aspy Foundation.
Rock was their favorite genre. They started singing Spanish covers of Metallica and other bands, but In 2020, they felt it was time to make their own songs. So far They wrote, composed, arranged and mastered seven of their songs themselves; About the pollution, insecurity, bad habits, and bullying they experienced at some point.

People with Asperger’s are seen as being weird, speaking differently, and having bad tempers. They are self-empowered children who are harassed everywhere, but they are confident in themselves and their worth and prove it by listing their talents and abilities, says Fernando Navia. “This is their way of protecting themselves, they don’t insult, they don’t confront. Only parents whose children suffer from this disorder know this.”

The band’s purpose is to show the world that their motto (Everything is possible) is true, that’s why they combine the world of rock and roll with academic music, to establish themselves as professional musicians and to encourage other families who believe that all is lost for a diagnosis of neurodiversity.
