Agricultural expert group ProAgria said the rains, which came after a dry early summer, had helped crops at the last minute.
As in the rest of the country, agriculture in the Norrbotten region was affected by drought and heat in the early summer, which made it difficult for crops to start growing. However, the rains have helped.
So far, prospects for cereal crops look good.
