PARIS: LeBron James, who helped the United States beat France in the men’s basketball gold medal game on Saturday, said he could not imagine himself playing in the next Summer Olympics in 2028 in Los Angeles.
Asked if he would consider competing in the next Olympics in the United States, the 39-year-old replied: “No, I wouldn’t go to Los Angeles to compete, but I don’t see myself competing in Paris either.
“Four years from now, no, I can’t imagine myself (going to the Olympics).”
James, the star player of the Los Angeles Lakers and often considered one of the greatest players in basketball history, had 14 points, six rebounds, 10 assists and two steals against France.
The Paris Olympic championship is James’ third championship.
