1.2 Introduction: The EU4 Circular Economy and Liveable Cities project aims to address the challenges of Albania’s transition to a circular economy and sustainable urban development. Implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and Environment (MoTE), the project is aligned with the core areas Climate and Energy – Just Transition and the EU Directives on Waste, Wastewater and Circular Economy. The project focuses on creating the legal and financial basis for the transition to sustainable, circular economy-oriented waste and wastewater management, and emphasizes youth involvement through debate tournaments, training courses and public awareness campaigns. The project is co-funded by the European Union and the German Government and implemented by GIZ Albania.
2. Theme
GIZ Tirana Office invites registered entities with expertise in project management, training and debate organization to express interest in theCity Debate Championship” Activities were carried out in 15 partner cities in Albania (Pogradec, Permet, Shkodra, Kukes, Leza, Çelik, Belsh, Roskovec, Prenyas, Gramsh, Tepelene, Gjirokastër, Saranda, Kerçire, Himara) to engage high school students in discussions centered on the circular economy (CE) and sustainable urban development in order to promote the EU-4 Circular Economy and Liveable Cities Project.
3. Eligibility
1. Financial Capability: Interested parties must demonstrate that their average annual turnover is at least 35,000 EUR for the past three financial years.
2. Workforce Capacity: The company must maintain a stable workforce with an average of at least 3 Number of full-time employees during the three preceding fiscal years.
3. Proven expertise: at least 3 Reference projects in the past 5 A valuable year 10,000 EUR on the field of the Municipal Debate Championships.

4. Deadline
