Disturbingly, at least five hospitals in Gaza have received evacuation notices from Israel. Under international law, hospitals are designated as safe zones and are protected from attack. However, in Gaza, this basic principle is not being followed.
So how will hospitals be evacuated and where will patients, including those in critical condition, be transferred?
The motives behind Israel’s warning to evacuate remain unclear to the people of Gaza and the world.
