Bayern Munich, who finished third in the German football league last season, have signed French winger Michael Oliseh from England’s Crystal Palace on a contract until 2029.
According to Kicker sports website, Bayern paid the Premier League club a release clause worth $75 million to obtain a five-year contract for the Frenchman.
“This is a great challenge and that’s exactly what I was looking for,” the 22-year-old Ollis, who passed a routine medical exam in Bavaria, said in a statement.
He continued: “I want to prove myself at this level and play my part in ensuring our team wins as many titles as possible in the coming years.”
Oliseh made 19 appearances for the London club last season, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists.
This is the second deal the Bavarian giants have made this summer, following the signing of Japanese defender Hiroki Ito (25) from Stuttgart.
Last season, Bayern finished third in the league, behind champions Leverkusen and runner-up Stuttgart, losing their 11th consecutive season of league titles.
