Socialist Party leader Assad Omar called on political elites, leaders and activists to understand the extent of the threat Iran poses to Yemen and the entire region.
A member of the Socialist Party Central Committee said: “It is expected that today, as the first year of the Presidential Command Council is coming to an end and the war is about to enter its ninth year, everyone, especially the leading elites of the components of the Security Council and their supporters, have understood the nature of this battle, the scale of Iran’s presence, the degree of control it currently enjoys in Yemen and the region, and its dangers. It faces everyone without exception.”
“And the extent of the restrictions that hinder their individual and collective actions, along with us are partners in a coalition that supports legitimacy.”
The socialist leader noted that meeting the demands of the next stage requires continued commitment to a fundamental task, namely, controlling the direction of the components of the Presidential Leadership Council and reuniting them on the basis of a strategy that defines the priorities for the restoration of Yemen and its state, ensuring the interests of all components throughout Yemen and a balance of interests between them and international actors, based on the basis of partnership, cooperation and integration, taking into account the interests of the people, their rights and choices in the form of a new state, as well as the methods of future management of the new state, including everything proposed by the members of the Southern Movement.
