Today, Saturday, a number of new ministers were sworn in before the Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council, His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Alimi, following the recent ministerial reshuffle.
The swearing-in ceremony was carried out by Defense Minister Lieutenant General Mohsen Al-Daari, Petroleum and Minerals Minister Dr. Saeed Al-Shammasi, and Electricity and Energy Minister Engineer Mana bin Yameen.
After they were sworn in, His Excellency the President delivered a welcome speech to the new ministers, stressing the importance of hard, honest and sincere work at this special and difficult stage in the history of the Yemeni people.
The Chairman of the Presidential Command Council urged the Ministers of Defense, Oil and Electricity to work as a team within a politically capable government…expressed hope that the three ministries will witness a qualitative shift in efforts to end the coup, restore order in the country and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
The swearing-in ceremony was attended by the Chief of Staff of the President of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Shuaibi.
