Free Voice Network – Al-Numan: Military option has become the most important option to end the war in Yemen

Deputy Information Minister Fayez al-Numan said the military option is now the most frequently proposed option locally, regionally and internationally to end war crimes in Yemen.

Al-Numan added in a statement to the Okaz newspaper that “whoever is paying attention to the Yemen crisis because it is caused by the Houthi militia confirms that the militia has no plans for Yemen, but is a terrorist tool created in the region to achieve its goals. “State sponsors of terrorism, represented by Iran and its expansionist terrorists in the region, are gaining ground at the international level.”

He explained that today the international community has become more aware of the danger of this terrorist militia and its elimination has become inevitable. But on the other hand, there are still political plans of some influential countries in the Yemeni file. They try to portray the Yemeni crisis as a humanitarian issue, without paying attention to the crimes committed by Tehran terrorists at the political, social, economic, humanitarian and military levels.

He pointed out that the Houthi militias continue to be passive and irresponsible in dealing with all the recommendations of the legitimate government, the Arab League and the international community to end the war and give priority to the implementation of the peace project carried out by the UN Special Envoy to Yemen. This makes it impossible for Yemenis to achieve peace with the terrorist organization.

He stressed that the international community and the Security Council also recognize that the Houthi militia is not a real partner in achieving real peace and poses a threat to Yemen and the region, but are still far from taking real deterrent measures against the crimes of the Houthi militia.

Yemen’s Deputy Minister of Information expects that military incidents will continue next year, especially in areas controlled by the Houthis, in addition to the Presidential Council’s serious reform of relations with liberated provinces and their inclusion in the security list. Stability is the primary cornerstone for liberating other areas controlled by militias.
