Fredi Beleri’s next hearing will be on September 2. The MEP arrived at the court this morning in handcuffs.
The first two meetings (July 25 and 29) failed due to lack of necessary documents.
Fredi Beleri is represented by attorney Geni Gjyzari and the judge in the case is Alfred Konomi.
We remind you that Fredi Beleri has been in prison since May 12, 2023 and has been sentenced to 2 years in prison for vote buying.
He won the cell election on May 14 last year but was not sworn in as Himachal mayor after the Central Election Commission declared his mandate invalid.
Meanwhile, Fredi Beleri petitioned the judiciary for his freedom, but his requests were rejected.
