In the other clash, Egypt took the lead through a goal from Saber Mahmoud, but the hosts managed to pull one back thanks to a brace from Jean Matata and a goal from Michael Oliseh.
The bronze medal match between Egypt and Morocco will be held on Thursday, August 8 at 9:00 am.
The gold medal match will be between France and Spain on Friday, August 9 at 10:00 am.
