The results of the recent election of staff representatives of the Joint Conference were lost. With 915 votes, FRAAP became the leading union in the public service of the territory, thus replacing CSTP/FO.
The federation’s secretary general, Jean-Paul Ulema, intends to use this new status to get his ear to the Minister of Civil Service and the country’s president: “It also allows us to have more direct contact with government. For example, the concept of national union representation. We who work in public service are a bit of an ugly duckling. We are determined to rectify this situation”.
