In attendance were Kakamega FC president Cleophas Simanyula, the technical team led by team manager Boniface Imbenzi and the playing team led by captain Moses Mudavadi.

The event was also attended by the Principal of Kakamega Secondary School, Dr. Julius Mambili.

Ovalo encouraged the 2023-2024 FKF Cup champions to work hard and compete with perennial champions Gor Mahia, Tusker FC and other top teams to ensure they bring glory to the Mulembe nation.

The Owalo Foundation is pioneering new frontiers in areas such as sports, health, education, housing, youth and women empowerment, environment and more to address challenges associated with economic mobility.

“We will also continue to organise grassroots competitions every year to help discover talents, empower young people and provide them with a platform to upgrade their skills to the next level,” Ovalo said.

Last year, Owalo presented a state-of-the-art bus to Kenyan champions Gor Mahia, while also providing financial support to AFC Leopards and Shabana FC as part of its corporate social responsibility.
