In a video shared on the ministry’s social media accounts, Captain Luke Johnson, who serves as the commander of a U.S. Marine company, stressed that Turkey’s ability to work seamlessly with more than 40 countries simultaneously is important in planning and executing strategic exercises.
“During the exercise, Turkey demonstrated on the world stage that it can work with the U.S. Army and a host of nations at sea and on land and can plan and conduct many different activities,” Captain Johnson said.
A soldier of the Azerbaijani Army with the rank of lieutenant colonel said that his troops carried out many activities within the scope of the exercises and gained new experience.
‘They saw what kind of power Turkish soldiers have’
The Azerbaijani soldier said that all the countries of the world have seen what kind of power the Turkish soldiers have, and he used the following statement:
“During the exercise, soldiers from other countries communicated with Turkish soldiers and gained new information. We are very happy that our brother country, the Republic of Turkey, organized such an exercise. On behalf of my entire team, I would like to express my gratitude to every commander who contributed to the organization of this exercise.”
Lieutenant Henry Watson, who served in the British Army, also commented on the exercise:
“From the day we arrived, my unit received various training from the 19th Brigade, including helicopter takeoff and landing training. It was a good opportunity for us to meet our counterparts in the Turkish Army and see the beautiful scenery of Turkey.”
