On the transport front, the Ecuadorian prime minister told Murillo that the government and Ecuador’s international goods transport sector need to address the need for effective Andean regional integration and free land transit for international goods transport in accordance with Andean regulations.

On his X social network account, Murillo also spoke about his meeting with Sommerfeld. He said that relations between Colombia and Ecuador continue to strengthen.

“We stressed the strategic importance of cooperation between our two countries and our common desire to deepen the fraternal ties between our peoples.
