The advisory stated that at 1:49 p.m., Doppler radar indicated heavy rains due to thundershowers in the area, with minor flooding in low-lying, poorly drained areas. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches have fallen, and another 1 to 2 inches of rain is expected, resulting in minor flooding.
Areas that will be hit by flooding include Moca, Aguadilla, Aceitunas, Caban, San Antonio and Rafael Hernandez.
