Flash flood warnings have been issued for the western part of the island

one Flash flood warnings have been issued for all districts in the western part of the island.

According to the Barbados Meteorological Service (BMS), localised rainfall will affect Bridgetown and western areas.

Meteorologist Christophe Martin explained that potential Tropical Cyclone 5 has resulted in light winds across the island. He added that moderate to heavy showers as well as thunderstorm activity will occur throughout the afternoon. The flash flood warning will be updated at 6pm.
