KUWAIT CITY, Aug 1: Major General Yousuf Qada, Deputy Minister of Transportation and Operations, has issued a directive to all transportation, operations and rescue departments to implement fingerprint attendance and departure tracking for all employees, including officials, military personnel and professionals.

The directive states that “all departments must use the identity fingerprint system of the Technical Inspection Department of the Al-Ardiya Industrial Zone to ensure employee attendance. This will be done in two shifts to accommodate all employees until all departments and sections have installed fingerprint devices. This move makes the transportation department the third department within the Ministry of Interior to implement fingerprint tracking for military personnel, after the criminal security and public safety departments also adopted this measure.”
