Fides International participates in the back-to-school promotion activities

It’s that time again when parents of school going kids start to panic about buying school supplies.

Preparations for the new school year 2024/2025 are about to begin in September. In order to ease the financial pressure on parents, the International Faith Association has launched a promotion that allows parents to obtain school teaching materials at a lower price.

Fides International Managing Director Alufeyo Mbaya said as a local supplier of stationery and IT equipment, they understand the economic challenges Malawians are going through, which could have an impact on the education of many children.

“We don’t want to see any child go to school without school supplies. To ensure that every child goes to school with all the necessary school supplies, we have launched a promotion called ‘Back to School Sale’. Through this promotion, parents can enjoy low prices on a range of products including exercise books, pens, pencils, instruments, scientific calculators and many other products,” he explained

“Parents will automatically receive additional discounts when they purchase 20 units of any of the listed products. This way, they can buy more for less and save more,” Mbaya added

Fides International’s Back to School promotion begins on August 23, 2024 and runs until September 30, 2024.

“We hope this period will be enough to help parents and guardians prepare for the new school year,” Mbaya said.

The company also encouraged school management to make use of this time as it further considered reducing some teaching materials such as chalk and rags as well as stationery paper.
