The father of Spanish football prodigy, European Champions League hero and Barcelona star Lamine Yamal is being treated in hospital after being stabbed outside Barcelona, La Vanguardia reports.
The father, Mounir Nasraoui, is said to be in a serious but stable condition. It is not yet clear why he was stabbed. Arrests are said to have been made.
Yamal was one of the standout players on Spain’s gold squad at last summer’s European Championship.
