No wildfires have been reported so far BC Coastal Region The evacuation order for Silverton in Slocan Valley was lifted on Wednesday.

There have been notable wildfires in the Cariboo, Kamloops and southeast regions, with 18 evacuation orders in place. In the past few days, two new fires have been reported and 36 have been extinguished. In the past week, 251 wildfires have been declared extinguished.

On Tuesday, the Central Kootenay Region downgraded its evacuation order for the Village of Silverton to a warning level, affecting 185 properties.
An evacuation alert for New Denver, five kilometres north of Silverton, was also cancelled.
The order and alert are related to a 30-square-kilometer fire east of Silverton that was sparked by a thunderstorm on July 18 and has sparked other fires of concern south of Slocan Lake.
An evacuation order issued last Saturday for the Village of Slocan remains in effect as the Mulvey and Ponderosa fires to the east and west of the village are out of control.
The Argenta Creek wildfire upstream of Kootenay Lake is out of control and growing, with the latest reports indicating that the fire has spread to 150 square kilometers. The community of Argenta has been ordered to evacuate.
Wildfire authorities say recent rain and cooler temperatures across the province have reduced fire activity.
Campfire bans were lifted in Prince George and the Northwest Fire Region on Tuesday.
