The Vienna-based NGO in the field of data security “Noyb” has filed complaints against the X AI project in Austria, Belgium, France, Greece, Ireland, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Poland. He also announced that they filed the complaint for violations of the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
The statement reminded that X began to illegally use the personal data of more than 60 million users in Europe to develop artificial intelligence technologies such as Grok without the users’ consent and prior notice.
The statement reminded that the Irish Data Protection Commission has initiated legal proceedings against it.
