He married (1) Martha Fahls September 11, 1862 in Hancock County, Ohio. He married (2) Julian Ann Hall November 20, 1864 in Hancock County, Ohio. The children of Ephraim Hoy and Julian Hall were: 2 i. Jacob2 Hoy, born February 2, 1867 in Wyandotte County, Ohio. He married Bertha C Buckalman January 29, 1899 in Defiance County, Ohio. 3 ii. Icy R Hoy. She married George Krontz May 1, 1895 in Defiance County, Ohio.
