This custom, rooted in tradition, took place in the presence of members of the extended cabinet of the Ministry of Education and the two directors of the Institutes of Education in Bamako, Right Bank and Kara-Bankoro.
The first national of the 2024 Baccalaureate exam is Bintou Flamousso Diallo, with an average score of 17.50. She is from Djinèsira Coulibaly High School, Carabankoro Pedagogical College. Abdel Nasser Diallo, from Lycée les Castors, Pedagogical College on the Right Bank of Bamako, ranked second with an average score of 17.18. Oumar Hassane CAMARA, from Lycée Les Castors, Teacher Training College on the Right Bank of Bamako, ranked third with an average score of 17.15.
The winners, parents and mentors received congratulations from the first Education Manager.
The head of the department, Dr. Amadou SY SAVANÉ, was very moved and said he was proud of the work done by the winners and conveyed to them the greetings and support of the highest authorities of the country, headed by Colonel Assimi GOITA, President of the Transition, Head of State.
The minister also presented certificates of excellence to the three winners as encouragement.
The acceptance rate for the bachelor’s degree for the June 2024 course is 27.23%.
