The Minister of Education, Owen Nxumalo, has announced that the start date of the second term in schools will be postponed from the original date of May 7 to May 14. The Minister explained that the postponement of the start date will not have a negative impact on students’ education and encouraged them to take some time to review their textbooks in preparation for the start of the second term. He added that teachers should also use this opportunity to relax and prepare for the new term.
