Dudu Nardini defends Jablonec and hopes to help the team succeed in the Czech Championship which starts this Friday –
Jablonec disclosed
Recently signed by Jablonec, Brazilian midfielder Dudu Nardini is set to make his debut in the Czech Championship this weekend. Othellos Athienou Dudu from Cyprus shares his impressions and expectations for this new phase of his career.
“It’s been great to adapt. I’ve found people are willing to help, which makes it a lot easier.
For a club that finished only 12th last season, he made a positive impression right from the start”, Dudu said, highlighting the acceptance he has found:
“This is an organised club that is focused on achieving its objectives for the season.”
Regarding the differences between Czech and Cypriot football, Dudu emphasises the physical aspect of the game. “The biggest difference compared to Cyprus is the physicality, the games are more intense but with a lot of transitions”, he explains. This adaptation to a more dynamic and demanding style of play has been one of the focuses of his training.
Dudu Nardini and the butterflies in his stomach
Dudu Nardini will play in the first round of the Czech Championship against Mladá this Saturday at 9:30 am (Brasilia time). He said that making his debut for a new club is always exciting:
“It’s special, but it makes me nervous. However, I have been working steadily since I came here. So, I believe that God will help me,” said the 26-year-old native of Sao Paulo, who, in America, defended for teams such as Tupi de Juiz de Fora in Brazil.
The Czech Championship will begin this Friday (19/7) with the first match between two-time champions Sparta Prague and Pardubice at 2 pm (Brasilia time).
