Dr. Yunus is on his way to Dhaka

Nobel Peace Prize-winning economist Muhammad Yunus has gone to Dhaka to head the interim government.

He boarded a flight to Dubai on Wednesday evening (Bangladesh time) and will leave for Dhaka on Wednesday night. After a stopover, he will proceed to Dhaka Shahjalal International Airport.

According to a press release from the Yunus Center, Nobel laureate Dr. Muhammad Yunus will return to Bangladesh tomorrow, Thursday afternoon. He is scheduled to arrive at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on an Emirates flight at 2:10 pm.

At the invitation of the Olympic Committee, Dr. Yunus went to Paris as a special guest. He received treatment there and underwent a minor operation. That is why there was some delay in his return.
