Patients visiting the office of a well-known doctor in Pirvash village of Agula district in Golestan province witnessed a horrific incident on Monday night. When 55-year-old village doctor Hajian was alone in the office for a while, a young man walked into the office, shot the middle-aged doctor with the weapon in his hand, and then quickly ran away.
Witnesses knew the gunman. He was a young acquaintance who had had an argument with the village doctor some time ago and now, in order to put an end to these arguments, he went to his office and shot him dead. After the shooting, the police and emergency services learned of the incident and went to Dr. Hajian’s office, but the work was already over and the doctor was unfortunately dead.
According to villagers, Dr. Hajian was from Mashhad but moved to Pirovash village 10 years ago and practiced medicine there. He treated patients so kindly and worked so skillfully that not only his followers but also people from neighboring villages came to him for treatment, and now the news of his death has saddened people in both villages.
After the murder of the well-known doctor, Accra Police Chief Sayed Mazeru said: During the investigation, it was found that the murderer’s motive for the crime was a previous dispute. So far, three people involved in the incident have been arrested, but the main attacker is still at large and the investigation is still ongoing.
