Another great season to keep us motivated and healthy during the winter months. We may be a small group of “weirdos” but personally, my week would be a lot worse without the Democratic National Convention on Wednesday night. It got me outside and was great for my mental and physical health. I don’t want to sound too esoteric but I really appreciate it. A big thank you to all the planners and participants of this season.
Congratulations to all the winners. Including the organisers we had around 477 individual races. Special mentions for Track of the Year went to Glen Dye (Ian Hamilton), and Toughest Track went to Potarch (Drew Tivendale), although I’m not sure if I should give him a shout out. Congratulations to everyone who raced on the night. Four runners competed in all 14 events, although David Esson was the only one to complete them all (again). Hats off to him.
Good luck to all who attend the Scottish Night Race at Balmoral on Saturday. Home terrain. I am sure many of us will shine again.
Drew
