German DJ Tomcraft, author of the unforgettable dance song “Loneliness”, has died.

The German DJ and music producer said goodbye on Wednesday Tom Crafthis real name is Thomas Bruckner. A month after his 49th birthday, he died.

His family said on social media: “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father and husband on Wednesday. You will live in our hearts forever until we are all together again.” His cause of death has not yet been disclosed.

Born in Munich, Bruckner started recording and producing music in the early 90s and is one of the first recognized avant-garde trance music DJs. The song “Loneliness” in 2002 brought him global success. His well-known songs include “Prosac” and “Viva”, which he wrote in the 90s but the audience did not really discover these two songs until the success of the song “Loneliness”.

In the early years of the new millennium, he played at some of the biggest festivals, such as Berlin’s Love Parade and Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival, as well as clubs from Singapore and Tokyo to Los Angeles and São Paulo.
