As the countdown to the second edition of the Kares One Guyana T10 Tapeball Blast draws to a close, digital technology companies have emerged as key partners in enhancing the quality of the 2024 tournament.
Digital Technologies is a specialist engineering and consultancy firm providing technology, cloud computing, software development, project management and managed IT services.
At the branch located at Diamond Public Road, East Bank Demerara, Public Relations Consultant Janelle Persaud stressed that the partnership is aimed at creating awareness of the company’s services using the region’s most advanced Tapeball tournament.
The second leg of this exciting tournament will kick off on August 3 at the Police Sports Club, Lusignan Community Centre Courts and Queens College Courts where 32 of Guyana’s best tape teams will battle it out in a knockout round.
Other matchdays include the last 16 at Police Sports Club and Lusignan on August 4, and the quarter-finals at Enmore Community Centre Stadium on August 11.
The competition is fierce and the prize pool is larger, attracting 32 teams. The champion will receive a prize of 1.5 million Canadian dollars, and the runner-up will receive a prize of 500,000 Canadian dollars.

Players will compete for the titles of ‘Most Points’, ‘Most Wickets’ and ‘Player of the Final’. Each winner will receive a Smart TV and a cash prize of $75,000, all courtesy of Regal Stationery.
Assuria Insurance didn’t skimp either, providing the MVP with a motorcycle and $85,000.
