Devon Sankey, 32, of Belize City, was booked into the jail today on suspicion of threatening someone with a gun. Sankey appeared in court to answer to one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Sankey did not enter a plea and because the crime was allegedly committed with a firearm, bail could not be granted at the first instance. Sankey is being held until October 2. Reynaldo Reyes, 37, reported to police that Sankey approached him and pulled out a gun while he was on Curl Thompson Street Wednesday. Fearing for his life, he ran and reported the incident to police.
