Addis Ababa, June 20, 2024 (Address) Signing of the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation Comrade Kim Jong-un and Comrade Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin signed the treaty.

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation signed the Interstate Treaty on Establishing a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership Based on the Principles of Equality, Respect for Sovereignty, Good-Neighborliness and Mutual Benefit.

Kim Jong-un, General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, and Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, President of the Russian Federation, signed the Treaty on Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea and the Russian Federation on June 19.

The leaders of North Korea and Russia attended the signing ceremony.
When Kim Jong-un and Putin signed the treaty and exchanged documents, all parties present extended their hands in congratulations.

Kim Jong-un took a photo with Putin to celebrate the signing of this historic treaty that will go down in the history of North Korea-Russia relations.

The two countries’ top leaders issued a joint statement on the signing of the treaty.
