One of the most haunted places in South Florida, Deering Manor offers a series of ghost tours where visitors can step into the past and explore the history of the manor. Guides will share stories of historical events, insights into previous residents, and accounts of paranormal activity experienced by visitors and staff. Explore haunted moments along the paths walked by original inhabitants, early Miami settlers, and even Charles Deering.
Ghost tours will take place on September 5, 12, 19 and 26, 2024, with tickets costing $40 per person and will be
October 3, 10, 17 and 24, 2024, $45 per person. Tickets available Online.
Participants are advised to wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, bring their own flashlight, and use mosquito repellent. A limited number of devices (e.g., pendulums, dowsing rods, electromagnetic field meters) are available for detecting paranormal activity. Cameras and your own paranormal equipment are welcome! This program is suitable for adults and youth ages 9+.
Located at 16701 SW 72nd Avenue in Miami, Deering Hall is a 21st century house museum, cultural and ecological field station, and National Landmark listed on the National Register of Historic Places, owned by the State of Florida and managed by the Miami-Dade County Department of Parks, Recreation and Open Space. Designated as one of seven “Heritage Parks” in Miami-Dade County, Deering Hall plays a vital role in our community’s history, environment, and in providing recreational and cultural experiences.
