“The simple fact is that the character of General Sadiba Coulibaly protected us. We ask the transitional authorities not to forget us. The only person who covered for us was him. Sadiba died today. Once again, decision-makers only have to think about Mandiana, Siguiri… We pray to God to help us find someone who can replace General Sadiba,” he hoped.

He provided us with water pumps, schools and sanitation facilities. We pray that God will help us find his successor,” he asked.

Billy Nankouman Diawara spoke about the importance of General Sadiba Koulibaly in his homeland. “The death of General Sadiba affects Magali Fallaba, Mandiana, Siguiri and Kankan. This loss affects the whole Republic of Guinea. Personally, Sadiba Koulibaly did a lot for me. He did not give money to everyone, but his name covers all the sons of Magali Fallaba.”

Kany Mory Camara, a contract teacher in Magaly Faraba, recognises the good in the former Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. “The death of General Sadibah Coulibaly has shocked me more than anyone. Today Faraba, Diarakoro, Mandiana and other parts of Guinea are mourning his disappearance. We are under the shade of a baobab tree. What he did for me in my capacity as a contract teacher is truly immense,” he said.

“Due to the death of General Sadiba Coulibaly, I ask the sons of Magali Fallaba to surrender to God. I am from Diarakoro, but today I have to attend the funeral of Sadiba Coulibaly. The high school we attended was dilapidated and he renovated it. It created jobs for many locals. During Ramadan, he helped families. For this, I ask all the sons of the local area to pray for the repose of his soul,” he requested.
