The 32nd Macau International Fireworks Display Contest will be held on September 7, 14, 21, October 1 and 6. according to Macao Government Tourism Office.
Ten teams from around the world will compete to have the most spectacular fireworks display in the night sky, with the harbor area near the Macau Tower designated as the performance venue.
During the game performances will be held at 9 and 9:40 p.m.

The event is expected to follow the format of previous years, with a carnival next to the Macau Tower every night during the competition, offering food and performances, and themed markets at other locations.
Traditionally, the best places to watch the show are Nam Van Lake, Avenida da Oceano in Taipa, the seafront area next to the Macau Science Center, Avenida de Sagres and Avenida Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
Last year’s competition was won by the British company MLE Pyrotechnics, whose performance was titled “Harmonious Symphony: Ignite the Power of Music”. China’s Hunan Celebration Fireworks Group was ranked second, and Japan’s Marutamaya Koshin Fireworks Co., Ltd. ranked third.
