For this week’s Give Tuesday event, we headed south to Humatak, where members of Platoon B at the Village Firehouse recently provided much needed love to a community bus stop that not only serves children in the area, but also Guam Regional Transportation Authority riders. Captain Jesse Chaco said the members wanted to see how they could contribute to the community. He mentioned how his family in Yona adopted a bus stop close to home. “I told our members about it and they were happy to accept,” he said. The project was to provide love to a bus stop next to the firehouse. FFII Tomas L. Concepcion II said, “I’m all for it. The kids wake up early. We hear them in the morning and they always gather at the bus stop waiting for their ride.”
