According to Lieutenant Nick Garrido, a spokesman for the Guam Fire Department, a woman was taken to the Naval Hospital with serious injuries after a car hit a utility pole near Deadman’s Curve in Asan at around 9 p.m. Tuesday. At 8:47 p.m., GFD units responded to Deadman’s Curve for a car-to-utility pole incident. Garrido said GFD units found a woman, approximately 40 years old, with serious injuries. The patient was taken to the Naval Hospital of Guam. Garrido added that the Guam Police Department was investigating at the scene.
