Under the patronage of Dr. Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, the “Arab Festival of Creativity” organized by the “Ebdaa Foundation for Culture and Arts” will be launched as a complement to the success of the Arab Festival of Creativity. The Ibdaa Festival, organized by the Ministry, aims to include the Arab dimension within the framework of national guidance to support and consolidate Egypt’s relations with its Arab brothers and to support the role and influence of Egyptian art as one of the most important and important components of Egypt’s soft power.
The festival includes:
4 main competitions (Film, Narrative and Documentary, Singing and Podcast), and the first competition for talents with special needs and abilities. The Festival Management will announce the opening date for its applications. The various competitions, the conditions of the competition, the Jury and the Egyptians and Arabs who won the awards.
The festival is led by journalist and writer Ayman Al-Hakim, who confirmed that the Ministry of Youth and Sports’ experience and its notable success in previous festivals such as the University Creative Festival and the Youth Center represent the strengths of the Ministry of Youth and Sports. The new festival will be established and set out to achieve its goals, the most important of which is to restore Cairo’s status as the capital of Arab creativity and to restore its role as a platform for the release of Arab talent, as history has proven. All Arab creators, whether in acting, singing or media, started in Cairo, and Egypt contributed to their stardom and launch.
Festival chairman Dr. Thanaa Hashem also said that a press conference is being arranged to announce the details of the festival and the date of the first edition.
