PARIS, Aug. 11 (AP): Stephen Curry pondered this question two years ago after winning his fourth NBA title with the Golden State Warriors. The only thing he could win was Olympic gold.
And at the last moment, he made sure the medal was his.
Curry made 24 three-pointers and scored 24 points in a 98-87 victory over France in the Paris Olympics final, as the United States once again became the king of international men’s basketball. It was the fifth consecutive gold medal for the United States and the 17th gold medal in 20 Olympic Games.
