Quality issues
Gonzaga also warned against using these counterfeit products because their quality is questionable.
“There are many reports in our newspapers about incidents that happened due to the use of counterfeit products,” Gonzaga said in an interview with DYSS Super Radyo GMA.
He added that the owners of these shops will face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 8293 or the Intellectual Property Code of the Philippines, specifically Section 155 in relation to Section 170 or trademark infringement.
