(Ouagadougou, 25 June 2024). Colonel Assimi Goita, President of the Republic of Mali, left Ouagadougou in the evening after concluding his visit to Burkina Faso.
At the end of his visit, President Assimi Gouta praised the excellent bilateral relations between Burkina Faso and the Republic of Mali.
The Malian President arrived in Ouagadougou in the morning and held a working meeting with President Ibrahim Traoré.
The working meeting, attended by delegations from both countries, enabled the two sides to consider issues related to the fight against terrorism, bilateral cooperation and socio-economic development.
The two delegations also discussed strengthening cooperation within the member states of the Alliance for the Sahel (AES).
