The 52-year-old American artist will be one of the final torchbearers. Torch completes journey across France to Eiffel Tower.

However, while the official Olympics account responded that “we’re ready,” others felt differently – especially given Snoop Dogg’s public opinions and marijuana use.

Why are Olympic running tracks purple?
Track and field icon Carl Lewis unveiled a new purple running track designed by Italian company Mondo.
It is made of rubber, covers an area of about 17,000 square meters and has been expanded from 8 to 9 lanes.
Tony Estanguet, president of the Paris 2024 organizing committee, revealed that the idea is to give the track a more “joyful and festive” atmosphere.
The track will feature three colors, two shades of purple (one lighter, closer to lavender, and the other darker) and gray on the outside of the track.
Italian company Mondo has seen three hundred world records broken since it started producing tracks in 1972.
It is hoped that more records will be broken at the 2024 Paris Olympic and Paralympic Games.
